I have been playing with my little 60 needle flatbed knitting machine this weekend.  I like to use it to learn or practice hand manipulated stitches.

This is going to be a hat when I’m done, I was practicing increasing stitches and joining pieces together.  I’ve put it on circular needles to finish the ribbing.  I’ll post a picture of the completed hat when I get it done.

Here is the hat after completeing the headband, I worked two rows of K2tog then 6 row of K2,P2 ribbing and bound off.  The fiber content is Black: Alpaca, White:  a 50/50 blend of cormo and angora.  Hand spun to a sock weight yarn.
